I. Literacy  
1.Know about 500 characters，and be able to write about 300 new characters.   
2.Master about 70 useful radicals' name and the main meaning. Be able to write the radicals and examples.
3.Learn to look up characters by radicals in dictionary, and write pinyin for characters. Find a character within one and half minutes. If necessary, you can find it in the character list difficult to find.
4.Analyze the shape of the characters basically. That is to analyze the structure, syllable and meaning of characters.   
5.Learn to recognize characters according to the context, develop the habit of considering the shape of the characters before writing, and clarify the goal of write is to write exactly, better and quickly.

II. Reading
1. Be able to read 30 topic articles correctly and fluently, read them with as more expression as possible, and know the main meaning.
2. Be able to recite about 20 articles.
3. Learn to read the paragraphs and articles silently.
4. Love to read, develop the habit of reading every day, and be able to read self-reading articles in 'Chinese Corner' by yourself.  
5. Take part in the discussion in class actively.

III. Expression
1. Be able to express your ideas clearly in your group, show your ideas in class loudly in voice and clearly in mind.
2. Be able to write the sentence completely, imitate to write some small paragraphs in the article. (Not required to be totally right)
3. Be able to write notes.
4. Be able to write about 10 dairies in Chinese.

IV. Integrated activities:
Take part in the integrated activities in class and every activity in 'Chinese Corner' actively.
V. Learning Content
    The content have to be mastered includes about 30 articles. And the topics of these articles are: Season, motherland, curiosity, brave, cooperation, the world of book, test, water and wind, honest, painting, games, months and years and so on. Organize about 12 ‘Chinese Corner’ activities. We will hold about 12 'Chinese Corner' activities in which we'll provide plentiful exercises and key of them and also exams every two lessons. At the same time, we'll summarize tables for literacy, writing and checking and the radical table.

48 classes/ period; 3 classes/ time; 4 weeks/ period (special arrangement for customization)
