I. Learning Essentials:
We have some big changes in this step. It is divided into five parts. They are accumulate over a long period,
reading enriches the mind, speak without any inhibition, begin to show skills and write excellent.
1. Accumulate over a long period: We have designed a series of practice of the word, phrase, sentence,
article which match with the main course closely. The aim is to arouse the students’ fancy of Chinese, enrich
the students’ language accumulation, strengthen study and usage of Chinese basic knowledge and urge
students to control the most basic language study method gradually.
2. Reading enriches the mind: Most of the self-reading texts are relative to unit topics or key texts mutually
contact, the content is plain, the language is vivid and the detail is interesting. They can not only expand
the students’ knowledge, but also suit students to make use of the learning method in the process of
independent reading consciously and improve reading ability gradually.
3.Speak without any inhibition: Set various problem scenarios, arouse the students’ desire of expression.
Guide students to tell about things they heard or saw clearly, express themselves feeling and idea
systematically and learn to listen in the same time.
4. Begin to show skills: Designed various Chinese integrated practice activities. Guide students to combine
the Chinese language study with consciously observation life surroundings. Collect information purposefully.
Encourage students to exert imagination and creative power, try to use Chinese knowledge and ability to
solve simple problems in life, and learn to do the teamwork in the activities..
5. Write excellent: As the column of composition, it appears no longer by form of instruction, but combines
with other columns closely, fetches out in the concrete problem scenarios naturally and becomes the extension
of Chinese practical activities. This kind of design can not only promote the development of students’ speech
and thinking ability, and also train their health taste interests and good moral qualities.
6. All the learning content in "Chinese Corner" is closely relative to the topic texts. So, teachers will make
flexible arrangement and random combination according to the students’ learning status and problems.
II. Study Content:
The content have to be mastered includes about 35 articles. And the topics of these articles are: color, voice,
motherland is in my heart, Mongolian region Chiang-Nan, we and me, birds, fair and supermarket, the growth
experience, imagination and imagination, marvelous submarine world, communication, celebrate the New Year
and so on. We will hold about 11 ’Chinese Corner’ activities in which we’ll provide plentiful exercises and key
of them and also exams every two lessons. At the same time, we’ll summarize tables for literacy, writing and
so on.

48 classes/ period; 3 classes/ time; 4 weeks/ period (special arrangement for customization)
